Cara and I just got back from a whirlwind trip to Wisconsin and believe us when we say, it was an absolute blast from start to finish! We had the honor of hosting the True-to-You Business Builder Event with the fabulous Sarah Stokes, caught up with family and friends, and basically had a non-stop party of both business and play!
Here’s the lowdown on our escapades:
- Cara will ALWAYS want to stop for coffee. Late for the plane? Stops for coffee!! Just had 32 oz. of Starbucks? Stop for Caribou!!
- JoDee will ALWAYS want to go in the little shops. ALWAYS. She may or may not buy something, but none-the-less you must go in. M-U-S-T.
- We have the BEST team. And we got to see some of them at our event and spoil them with melted cheese and margaritas afterwards. And they spoiled us with their delightful presence. SERIOUSLY, we work with the cool kids. #cupfilled.
- We have the BEST family. End. Of. Story.
- The weather in Wisconsin got up into the 50s while we were there. HELLS YES. It was great! Oh, you want to know about the business stuff? Pffft….
True-to-You Business Builder Event take aways:
- Sarah Stokes is a POWERFUL educator! She rocked our world with her B-R-A-I-N approach to selling. Seriously. She BROUGHT IT. She got us all on point so that what we worked on through all day was in REAL alignment with our businesses forward.
- The women that came we’re READY to do the WORK. They came ready to learn and make powerful choices in moving their businesses forward. We covered a LOT of content and they soaked it in, adjusted it as needed to their industry and situation and created powerful plans for themselves.
- Cara and I teaching together is so fun AND so western! This is why we work well together. Cara thinks in details and I think in the big picture… so together we were able to connect with others and really help them see new perspectives on advancing their business marketing!
- We had THREE Elevate5 team members at the event. So, in addition to Sarah Stokes, Cara, and myself, we had LOTS of trainers on hand. With this additional power on the team, we were able to sit and help individuals move their particular questions one-on-one. We got GREAT feedback on this and will definitely be doing that again!
- Attending a business event with powerful women in the seats is the only way to go. Seriously, you guys… the women in the room!! So inspiring. Such artisans in their respective industries. A wealth of knowledge in their area of expertise! Please, please the next time you’re heading to a business training, don’t just look at who is leading… look too at who is in the ROOM. These women brought SO MUCH to the table. So impressed!
We are truly blessed to teach alongside each other! From coffee pit stops to business breakthroughs, True-to-You Eau Claire delivered ALL. THE. GOODNESS in so many, many ways!
