Like most things on the interweb, you can’t just hit “post” and expect everyone to flood your inbox with leads. That would be amazingly wonderful, but that’s not typically how it works.
Your Lead Magnet is a powerful tool in your toolbox. It’s intentional in the way that it vets your potential leads into paying clients. Not to mention, it’s beautiful and completely interactive, so the second you get it in front of the right person, they’re bound to take action.
But how do you get it in front of the right person?

Whatever it is for you, it’s important to know that goal and correlate it with your marketing strategy and efforts.

Do you have a juicy email marketing list of people waiting in the wings to get the next best thing from you? Share your Lead Magnet with them! Let them know that you have a Free Gift for them and entice them to take action. You can do this quarterly if appropriate for you. You could even create a detailed sequence that was dependent on whether or not they downloaded the Lead Magnet. Not everyone sees every email! It’s important to keep that in mind too.
Whether you’re simply sharing it on social media, going live, or sharing a video about it, this is a great opportunity to share your lead magnet with your followers. We recommend sharing your lead page link in your social media bios so people can easily access it at any time! Share this multiple times in different ways. It’s a great piece of content to use monthly, bi-weekly, etc.
If you’re out and about networking, this is an easy gift to give to those you connect with. Write up a blog post related to your lead magnet. Whether it goes into depth or gives a little glimpse into one key topic included in it, the primary call to action will be to download your lead magnet. Share this blog post with your email list and/or your social media. This is another way to share your lead magnet by utilizing a different form of content. Maybe your dream client is a reader and loves sifting through valuable blogs.
Does your business pair well with someone else’s? Maybe you have aligned businesses, but you specialize in something different than them. Connect with them! You most likely already have, so why not have them share your lead magnet? You can determine how you’d like to do it (social media, email marketing, in person, etc.), you could even provide them the copy and have them simply share it with their audience. BOOM! A whole new slew of leads. You’ll notice some of these strategies start to intermingle, and that’s the beauty of it!
Podcasts + Speaking Events
Do you speak regularly at events? Do you get invited to be a guest on podcasts? Share your expertise, do your thing, then invite listeners to snag your free gift.
